I'm a bakin' fool tonight! Just got a loaf of orange nut bread out of the oven (will go into the freezer for Christmas morning), and put some pumpkin bread in.
It's a little weird to be making the bread for Christmas morning (this is our breakfast, every Christmas morning, from time immemorial). The last time I made it was the year that Mom fell and broke her elbow in early December (proof that Altar Guild can be hazardous to your health).
The pumpkin bread will be for a party I'm going to next week, with a small loaf (no nuts, no chocolate chips) going into the freezer for my Mom, and mini muffins going to work on Monday for the work holiday thing.
