It is not pleasant to consider the reality of eternal punishment.

Yea, that pretty scares the tar out of me! My big fear is fire and the thought of my soul burning forever shakes me.

When Jesus died on the cross and all sin was forgiven is still mind blowing to me. As it should be I guess. Anyways...sorry to ramble!

This is not a light passage, but I am working my way through the New Testament and would do a disservice if I skipped over it for a more pleasant topic. Jesus obviously thought it was important to teach this.

The main point here though, is that people who choose to ignore the truth would continue to do so even if someone came back from the dead - which Jesus did. That is so sad and I am feeling the burden of it more and more as I encounter unbelief in the blogging world.

My prayer is that some will believe and accept the free gift of abundant, eternal life.

You going to have a tough road as it seems to me the internet can be a great tool or a great weapon for people.

All the more reason to continue to share the Word. If even one person chooses to believe it is worth it.

The truth is, I am thoroughly enjoying myself and I don't think I have interacted with so many unbelievers in my life. Jesus said He didn't come to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved. That should be my purpose as well.

Thank you again for your comments.

You are welcome!
