7 weeks!!
I get to tell my boss I quit in 2 weeks! And thank god, because he's getting on my nerves... This week alone, these 2 conversations have transpired:
Creepy Conversation #1: (Monday)
Boss - "Well this weekend is going to be a very interesting one (insert Dr. Hibbert laugh)"
Me - "Why is that?"
Boss - "I have a guest coming into town on Friday, to stay all weekend with me (insert creepier version of Dr. Hibbert laugh)"
Me - "We have a guest coming in on Friday too! Billy's 12 year old nephew, Austin is going to spend a month with us. Hey, what's going on with that one contract? Is is ready to be sent to the customer?"
Boss - "Oh..."
*Notice how I changed the subject. This is what I do each time, and yet he continues....
Creepy Conversation #2: (Today)
[I am sitting at my desk, reading over the company policies per an email from the lady in HR. No, I haven't gone to HR about it, she needs everyone to read over them and accept them online. Boss comes out of office, and stands behind my chair.]
Boss - "What are you doing? Oh the policies... you got that email too, huh?"
Me - "Yep."
Boss - "Which one are you on??
Me - "Patents and secrets of the company."
Boss - "Oh." [He proceeds to stand behind me reading off the titles of the various policy that I am reading at that moment. Then we get to the sexual harrassment one] "Oooh! Sexual Harrassment! I guess this means I can't harrass you! (insert Dr. Hibbert laugh) Harrass harrass harrass!! (insert Dr. Hibbert laugh again, but louder and creepier)"
Me - *cringe* remember Siobhan, only 2 weeks until you get to tell him you quit... (inside thoughts)
I just keep reminding myself that I've only got 7 weeks left and then I can get the hell out of here!!! And in those 7 weeks, I'm going to enjoy all the benefits of having insurance! I'm getting my eyes checked, my teeth cleaned, and my hips jabbed with needles! And while I'm at it, probably another annual at the ob/gyn!
I'm not sure, but I think he thinks he's being funny... but in all actuality, he's just plain ol' creepy!!
