Who on earth thought bangs would complement her pregnancy-round face? She is also wearing what appears to be a tent.
When I was 15, I totally didn't catch on to their mystical, pregnacy-hiding tricks. And I even knew that she was pregnant... but it totally didn't occure to me that Scully was looking different. Now I see the eps and it's so obvious. I apparently didn't think about fashion much as a kid.
You should thank your lucky stars every day for sending you Dana Scully.

I think a large part of it might be that he just resents being told what to investigate. Because things will end up being X-Files, but his natural instinct, when he's told what to do, is to say that it's not worth his time.
It's like he knows he wants to be with Scully, but he's sort of forgotten why and now he remembers and is all, 'damn, you're awesome.'
