Hello there! The doujinshi event calendar is preparing to self-combust in the next couple of weeks. Two great events are on the horizon; the first is Tokyo's Haru Comic City 14, held on Sunday, March 15th

Hello! First of all, thank you so much for telling me about the PM you received. It makes me wonder if other Nook members have received similar PMs, and has an "odd" feeling to it, doesn't it?
Personally, if the anthology's circle-in-charge would sell you the anthology at list price, I would be fine with that. I've seen so many circles refuse to sell to foreigners, or send foreigners polite-but-rude emails refusing them service and I can understand how they feel in a way.
It's tough dealing with someone who may not speak your native tongue, but doujinshi isn't just for Japanese anymore. Many people around the world love doujinshi and the more outlets customers have to buy the works they want, whether it's through me, the big stores, JP-Queen, or dealing with the circles directly, it's definitely a good thing.
If that person contacts you again, could you please let me know? Otherwise I'll try to buy that SuFinn you're looking at and will keep my eyes peeled for Naton LietPols in Tokyo...this job wouldn't be half as fun if I didn't get to talk with peeps like you--thanks a million for the heads-up and extra info! :)
I haven't gotten a reply from that person yet, so please try to buy the SuFin book for me ^^
Also, I know it must be confusing when people change their minds about things, buuuuut I decided I'd rather have this book, Checkmate: http://mugen-p.egoism.jp/htoff.html than Paprika. I just found it and I like the art style better ^^;;
However! If you can't get the Sufin anthology for whatever reason, then getting both Checkmate and Paprika instead would be good! ^^ (or like if Checkmate is sold out, then get Paprika) Did that make sense? ^^;;; I can only buy two books at the moment ^^;;
It's really late here, but I'm going to pay first thing tomorrow morning! Thanks again! You're so great to deal with ^_^
Heya, I don't mind last-minute changes as long as I get them! *lol* I think I understand what you're trying to say...you can afford two titles max, and prefer the anthology and "Checkmate", then "Paprika".
Actually a request like this always makes things easier for me. I'll try like hell to get your first two choices, and if something happens I've got a reserve title to fall back on.
And THANK YOU for being such a trooper...I'll be sending you an update after I return tomorrow for sure!
A HaruComi Update...the_little_nookMarch 16 2009, 05:07:00 UTC
Heya heya! I stopped by the tables at HaruComi yesterday...
...and was able to get you 1 copy each of "Southern Cross" and "Checkmate". I double-checked my Paypal register and don't think you've paid just yet; I'll be able to send your package out after I receive the notification.
Thanks again and if there's anything else I can do, let me know...and you're a lot of fun to work with too. :)

Thank you so much! And I'm so sorry I hadn't paid ): I hadn't been feeling well the past 3 days and didn't even open my email! I paid just now ^^
Don't forget to keep looking for Naton's other LietPol books in the shops ^^ I also just discovered this circle: http://dotk.eek.jp/top.html So I'd be interested in their stuff too :3 (found them too late for HaruComi orz) Though, I probably can't buy any more books till the end of the month ^^;;
I'll look for Naton's and .K's works as I'm out and about today for sure. And I dropped your package off at the post office yesterday, so you should be receiving it in a week or so--I am EXTREMELY glad that everything went smoothly with your requests and hopefully we won't have to encounter that bullet again in the future! *waves*
Package recieved!soraryuuMarch 25 2009, 20:00:12 UTC
Got my stuff today! :D Thanks for putting that piece of cardboard in the envelope, because I almost had a heart attack when I saw the package bent in half in the mailbox, but that cardboard saved the books! Hoorah! I'm so glad you were able to get me both books because they were so, so cute! Especially Checkmate! X3 Oh and the omake folder was a nice surprise ^^ There was also a little holographic sticker-thing that fell out of Checkmate. I love goodies X3 Thanks again! Buy again from you soon ^^
I'm always glad to hear that packages arrive safely and I'm afraid that some postman is going to double the envelope and stuff it in the mailbox, hence the extra cardboard.
And the omake is nice, isn't it? I'm always touched when the circles make stuff like that, because it makes the purchase all the more special.
It's always a blast working with you, and I'm looking forward to polishing off your next request...thanks for being a ton of fun to work with. <3
