[Garnet slips off the ladder, looking dejected, and heads towards the tables with a stack of cookbooks. She does not look thrilled about what she's found, but perks up when she spots Zidane, setting her books down across the table from him.] I never expected to see you here!
[Subtly gives the stack of books a 180 turn because there's totally a cheesy romance novel sandwiched between "How To Cook the Perfect Dinner" and "Keeping Communism Out of Your Household in Three Easy Steps".] Hehe, I got curious...many people told me I wouldn't find much, but I had to see for myself.
And I was directed towards cookbooks and clothing catalogs. O-oh!! [Moves to block his view with a nervous smile, color rushing to her cheeks. She cups her hand over the novel's title, clearing her throat.] Nothing dreadfully interesting! This library has a very shallow selection, you said so yourself. [Go ahead and try getting a better look at that book, you know you're dying to know what it is~]
[Stammers spectacularly, worming her way between him and the table with her back towards the stack of books. She grips the romance novel and holds it behind her back. She smiles nervously, looking entirely the part of a guilty child who's trying to cover up some mischief.] I-it's nothing, really!
[Garnet chews her lower lip, knowing fully well that she's been caught red-handed...
And then she looks up at him, a flicker of dark eyelashes and mischief, and she's wearing the same smile from the first night they met: the one that teases "catch me if you can".
She slips out from between him and the table with a giggle, novel in hand, making a beeline for the maze of bookshelves.]
[Cannot contain her giggling as she dodges behind a shelf covered in comic books towards the back of the library, though she quickly realizes that she's done herself in; it's a dead end.]
