two announcements.

two announcements from me, quasiradiant, because mod thenewhope is at work.
1) don't forget - signups end tonight at 12midnight EST (that's about four hours from now, btw, if time zones are as hard for you as they are for me.)
2) about betas, we here at thelittlebang just want to say: don't worry!
the reason we're asking for your betas to 'pledge' is so that a) we know how many other betas we need to wrangle up for people who don't have any and b) so that we know you've told somebody that you expect them to beta your 15,000 epic so they won't be surprised. we totally understand that your betas might change, that your betas might flake, etc.
but don't worry! if your betas can't get over here right away, send 'em over to the pledged beta post in the next couple of weeks. we're not going to bug them, we just want to make sure they really exist and that they've seen something about what they're gonna be expected to beta.
we're really sorry if you've felt stressed out about the beta thing, or any other part of thelittlebang. we're going to have to go on a major recruiting rampage to get enough artists to cover all the stories that are getting written (what a terrible chore to have! ;) ) so we want to make sure we can assure them that all their hard work will be for stories that are as awesome as possible.
