WEAKNESSES: As carefree and silly as he is, most people would probably have problems taking Ryoji seriously. Though he's not exactly an idiot, he sure act like one most of the time, which probably helps the whole "not being taken seriously" deal. Ryoji likes to flirt with... honestly every single girl he could spot, and quite obviously that can lead to troubles! He can be kind of clueless about a good deal of things (I.E. he didn't know what the whack-a-mole game was, or about train terminology), and because he doesn't know much of Japan, he may need help in dealing with a few matters.
STRENGTHS: It's certainly difficult to get bored when Ryoji's around. He's energetic and is, more or less, always up to something. Ryoji is a nice person all around, and spending time with him is definitely something fun to do. Although he acts like an idiot, he's more than able to deal with serious situations. He's a loyal and supportive friend, and he'd even sacrifice himself to make the people he loves live a peaceful life.

PERSONALITY: Silly, cheerful and funny, Ryoji is certainly someone good to spend time with. He's not afraid to jump in crazy situations, rarely thinking of the consequences, and often ends up in trouble because of this. He's a very friendly guy, and as such he makes friends quite easily. Because of his bright personality and good looks, Ryoji is quite popular and is easily surrounded by girls, something he kind of makes worse by flirting with like... all of them.
He loves to use cheesy pick-up lines, though they're never shown to actually work in game (unless, you know, with the NPC girls we never see). Even if he likes to spend time with girls and all, he still loves to play around with his friends, and sometimes even complains when he has to take care of the ladies instead. It's kind of obvious that he doesn't have much of a self-preservation instinct, considering how he's willing to risk getting beaten just to spy on girls at the Onsen.
He does show a serious, more sad side of himself during the game, although that's after discovering who he really is, which I'm not going to say here because, hello spoilers :(
But from the events you can pretty much understand just how much he loves life. It's clear that the news was kind of shocking for him, because he obviously enjoyed the days he could live. Despite that, instead of pitying himself he chose to put his life to use and offer Minato a choice that could have saved he and all his BFFs from despair. So, yeah, Ryoji is a good guy and you all should be grateful to him >\
BACKGROUND:Spoilers ahead..!? Sort of :(
Although he is a very important character, there isn't all that much to say about his past. For everyone, he's a transfer student from no-one knows where (supposedly, he lived overseas because of his parents work), who apparently never did things such as field trips. He lives alone, and truth is, it's because he doesn't have a family at all. To make things short, in a way or in another you could even say he doesn't really exist.
His original form is that of one of the Shadows Arcana, Death, the appriser. Ten years ago, a fight between him and Aigis occurred, and as he could not be killed, in the end, he was sealed in a boy: that boy was Minato.
He kept chilling in his head for ten years, until Minato got back to Iwatodai and shit started happening. At first, he appeared to him as "Pharos", a creepy little boy with the hobby to spy on him while he slept, and because of certain happenings, he later on took the form of Mochizuki Ryoji and enrolled in Gekkoukan High School.
WHY IS YOUR CHARACTER HERE?: Because you harassed me into apping him Ryoji is more or less a part of Minato, so, wherever he is, Ryoji is, too. And "he's canon, lol".
