• where was detroit's magical comeback? is it *just* because they weren't in danger of being swept? I DON'T WANT TO GO OUT IN THE FIRST ROUND, GUYS, COME ON.

• sometimesalways has been heavy handed with the sidney and sid/geno spam in chat/twitter during her trip down the rabbit hole, and i'd say she's doing it on purpose to get me, but her motives aren't that selfless -- i think it's working

• yes, pittsburgh, if you want to be bitchy (sigh and pissily awesome), that's how you have to play. i'm not saying i want you to win, but at this point i really don't care. i just want seven games of amazing. i still want to hold sean couturier's hand as we walk across the street to go to play in the ball pit, that is one adorable seven year old.

• my grandmother fell off a curb and tried to pick herself up, knocking her head into the glass door in the process, per my momma. she is in hospital but is okay, they're gonna keep her until she can walk on her own again. three fractures in her back (but they think two are old), black eye, soreness everywhere. geez, nana, i'm sorry. papa's not there to pick you up any more. :(((
• bowling tonight! we have a staff league team, and i am truly terrible. but it's a handicap league, hey hey! my handle is "big bertha".
• i'm thinking of taking up derby recreationally, the bay area league has a recreational division. i have already decided my name - patty hearse. would be good to get some of those frustrations out? but i haven't been on skates in something like sixteen years.
