heading back to SF tonight

man, does everyone feel like an imposter in their jobs? i know kate and i talk about this from time to time, but sometimes when we start talking biz terms at work, my brain just starts flashing "YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT" at me. i'm learning, and i know tons, but my experience is very geekHQ specific, and so larger discussions kind of terrify me as i feel like i have no legs to stand on.
NHL playoffs start tonight, as you may have noticed, if you have a hockey obsessed flist. i am likely to miss the nashville-detroit game in its entirety between shuttling to the airport and flying, but i'm hoping to catch bits while at SLC.
having the number one song in the world is polarizing. everyone seems to know i go to hella concerts, so i've been asked a few times here what the last show i saw was. i tell them it was fun., which they don't recognize, but when i mention "we are young", instant recognition. sadly, most do not like. :( that's okay, though. i get the same reaction from some folks when i tell them the next show i'm seeing is the boss.
i really like new!planner, he's great, totally proactive and attentive in a way the past three have not been or haven't had the ability to be, even though he's still having to split duties between geekHQ and halfpipeHQ - he's putting geekHQ first...which is a first.
