geek HQ update: i enjoy the work, but as you do when you're new, i still worry that i'm doing things wrong? and working with all dudes takes some adjusting, but i think i'm getting better with that. pretty sure the job is secure and all that, so that's good. ha ha, i'm not there today -- i was planning on taking the morning off sick and going in around noon, not so awesome when i actually woke up feeling sort of bad with the alarm and worse at nine or whenever it was we woke up again. onset of a cold. awesome! oh karma.
you are not in that kind of band, sir: so the bac went to see believers never die last night, and multitude of hashbrowns aside, fall out boy put on an excellent show. so this is what patrick sounds like at the beginning of a tour! he sounded amazing, i can't even. gabe, however... oh, gabe. it's quite amazing to see a large crowd of people putting their fangs up en masse from a balcony view, the cult is real. anyhow, joe's transformation into cousin itt is coming along nicely, the hair is beautiful and luxurious and just a sight to see, and oh does he let you see it, loves to swing it around in semi slow motion. left to have a smoke break when the lights went down for metro station, during which i debated smoking a spliff in the common smoking area, and came back just in time for trace cyrus to say things i never wanted to hear him say and take his shirt off, after which point, half of our group was determinedly faced away from the stage, and the other half were mesmerized by the trainwreck. our show mom and daughter from the show at altamont, sharon and laurel, and our line buddy from same hkygal21 went and stayed front and center barricade, so they were pretty wrecked by the time we saw them after.
