we listened to run d.m.c's "christmas in hollis" last night, and it is still the best christmas song ever. i remember the first time i heard it, which was actually pretty late, about ten years ago. it was on some truly random christmas cd my mother owned, and i listened to it while decorating the tree that year. u2's "christmas (baby, please come home)" is a very close second. since it is the day after thanksgiving and people are dying/being injured in black friday madness, obviously the holidays have begun.
and i'm talking about robots. of course.
also,
bexone's family was the most amazing ever, very akin to
lostvoice's. i really can't even put it into words how great they were. and are, i mean. the food was om nom and the company was snarky and full of pop culture references, which is how katie and i exist, so we were pretty comfortable being ourselves, and they were really, really great.
three weeks and two days until fall out boy. that is rather exciting.
randomly: it is still very sad that dave chappelle went kind of crazy. there was never a time i didn't love half-baked, i saw dave and jim breuer on the completely baked tour in 2000 before i'd ever smoked pot and had a great time, and chappelle's show was truly spectacular.
