So yeah, it's been a while since I posted here, but I actually do read my friends page at least a few times a week - I like to think of LJ as a place I know I can go to keep up on the big events in my friends' lives, and in that same train of thought, I suppose I ought to keep you guys up on the big events in mine.

Haha, I'm sure he'll donate all of the appointment scheduling software you need for the wedding. ;-)

On a vaguely serious note, I did just plan a wedding, so let me know if you need advice.

One more thing: I don't know how involved you're going to be - you probably don't know how involved you're going to be. However, almost every girl I know who's been engaged has been vaguely hurt by the fact that her fiance was totally uninterested in the color of the napkins/how her bridesmaids should wear their hair/any dumb thing you don't care about here. You're not a bad person for not caring, but it's important to tell her something like this in the very beginning: "Honey, I'm really excited we're getting married. There are some small details I don't care about. You're welcome to ask for my opinion, but if I don't have an opinion, it's not because I don't love you or that I'm not excited about the wedding."

Yeah, I've already told her that it's not that I don't care about that stuff, it's just that the difference between daffodills and lillies will not change my experience in any way, so she should make sure to get what she likes best. :P Talk has happened already!
