The following are my 20in20 claim of Amy Pond from Doctor Who, and 10 alts. This is was done for Round 9 of inspired20in20.
I'm on the fence about these. The challenge of being in a community like inspired20in20 is to push your boundaries and make you experiment with new things. Hopefully this will be effective in helping you grow as an artist. I do think that I learned a lot of new things while making this batch. Firstly, I have three solid pale colorings. I've never made a pale coloring before. Secondly, I experimented more with crops. I'm still very much a person who uses center crops as a crutch, but I did experiment with different ones while making my 20 icons for this round. I'm not disgusted, is all I can say. Thirdly, I learned how to use some textures I hadn't known how to use before. So that's a plus!
I still fear sharpening, contrast, blocking, and cutting out subjects very very much.
