Here comes an update.
White out. Just another evening in Oswego.
I can write! I think. I went through a period of writer's block recently, but I think I came out of it today. I wrote a poem. I'll not be posting it until next week, so don't expect to see it just yet. Hopefully this won't be the random canteen lying in the middle of a huge desert. But then, what are the chances of THAT, anyway?
Jenna is helping me learn the drums. I am SO excited about that it's ridiculous. A lot of it is going to be constant practicing. I realize this, and am okay with it. In the meantime, I'm having fun learning/ playing. Jenna has serious confidence in me. Music makes me happy.
And Kate makes me happy. She is freaking amazing. I miss hanging out with her, but I have impossible amounts of fun talking to her anyway. The more we talk, the more we find we have in common. When it gets freaky or we start finishing each other's sentences, I just use the following mantra to calm down: "orange juice". We shared music - in the legal sense, that we traded tastes (that sounds dirty) and got each other listening to new music. She's now an avid Coheed fan and I've developed a new love for Tool. I still love Kate more, though. :P
The snow is not falling. It is being driven horizontally across campus by the Oswego wind.
I'm tired now. Sleep time.
