OK. I've been gone for like twelve days and things changed so far. Just another week of washing pots in the summer camp that I'm working in, and then freedom, for a week and half before the dreaded start of the fall semester.

• I check the DDR Freak forums and I find out that IIDX 9th Style is in the city, in particular, in a pool hall/arcade in Chinatown, as well as the other goodies (DDR Extreme, DanceManiax 2nd Mix, and Flash Beatz).


• After that, my mom gave me a voucher for a new pair of reading glasses as well as bus fare to get to the eye doctor. I get change at my local corner store, but they didn't have change for a dollar. So I ask this lady at the bus stop for change and she first tells me that she didn't have any. A few minutes later, she gives me her unused 7 day Unlimited Ride MetroCard that was gonna expire today since she was already using a new one. As soon as I show up to the eye doctor, they tell me that the voucher has expired, thus freeing up the rest of my afternoon.


• Knowing that getting a free unlimited ride card is a once-in-a-blue-moon opportunity, I immediately hauled ass from Parkchester and took the 6 train to Bleeker Street, where I took the D to Grand Street. It only took me a few minutes to find that arcade I was telling you about. Once I got there, I blew dollars on IIDX, DanceManiax, and mostly on the uber-addicting Flash Beatz.

Anyways, I'm getting tired and in need of charging. Nighterz.
