Most every kind of tool or item is made for the right handed person.
My Mom had mentioned to me, when I was a very small child, I would pick up everything using my left hand and they would take whatever I picked up out of my left hand and put it in my right hand. Which was a very bad thing to do.
I think we trained ourselves to be able to use both hands. Otherwise we would be in a lot of trouble.
It is said that Left Handed People have a shorter life span than those who are right handed. Someone on here at one time did some research on why that is, And found the reason being that left handers have more accidents with equipment due to everything being made for the right handed person.
BTW, I do not consider myself a Southpaw and when people see that I write with my left hand they call me that. I do not curve my hand inward when I write. That would be a South Paw LOL.
We left handers also have to think when we go out to eat with a group of more than 2. We have to sit so that our elbows aren't hitting each other while we dine. Right Handed People Never think about that.
