My aunt told me that it would be in my best intentions to meet a guy who parallels my interests. So my interests: Mental & physical stability, a heart for humanity, patience, independent, off beat genres of film & music, someone who can comprehend Sociological frameworks because I need feedback, the enjoyment of ephemeral pleasures & past times, moving to the beat of one's own drummer, conspicuous consumption, aesthetics but not overtly concerned for them, someone who gets my neuroticism.

We idealize so much about what we want in a partner, however sometimes fail to truly justify what is in front of us. Am I blinded by the light? Just hearing a friend talk to their partner about mundane things but with a tone of endearment & love without the words; it made me think about how single is solitude when you're making strides to love yourself. But what about the love of another? Intimacy, satisfaction through compromise, imperfection. Why does it come so easily for some while others (myself) just go mad for the shit? Is society really de-sensitized? Bitch, please read & inquire within.
