Ha, well, so much for trying to update for "the next few days"! I'll get to February and then May through the first week of July soon enough... but for now...

tl;dr - I went to Tokyo for the weekend and then some. It was awesome. I'm sad to leave.

T-T ♥ I'm so glad you had such a great weekend! Man, you do some pretty fun things :3
I relate to the sudden throat tightening sadness at leaving. It's the realization that you're moving on to another phase of life, one I hope is great for you. Aw, and I've never been up to the top of Tokyo Tower, I was always too cheap XD; One of my friends wanted to go, but we were kind of afraid to go together since it seemed like too much of a mahoshojo setup.
That cosmetic school makeover is amazing! And how lucky! :3 And augh, that HK yagyu charm XD; How adorable! And also yeah, Shibuya is kinda open all hours. Because they'll always make money @_@; Only other part of Tokyo I've seen at that late/early an hour and still alive is Kabukicho in Shinjuku. And I love Denny's in Japan XD; I actually went to Denny's in Japan more than I've been to Denny's in America! I like how in Japan they're a legit, non-trucker, family restaurant. And they serve waffles with ice cream.

And awww to you singing Gundam for TV in a yukata XD;;;; (And where's the picture of you in yukata?!)

I'm doing my best to do as much as possible... I feel like I wasted a hell of a lot of time because I wanted to do things with Pillow, but he wasn't here. Now that I have no choice, really, I'm just going for it.

Yeah, I... it's so bittersweet. I love it here. I feel like I have two homes, and I'm just returning to one of them from the other.

Ha! It was her, her fiance, and me, so I'm surprised we weren't transported to another world and told to kill a princess or something!!

She asked if I could come back on the 25th... I sure hope I can!

Ha, well, even Starbucks was closed! I associate that with mornings way more than burgers.

They don't have waffles anymore, unless that's on the breakfast menu? :o I've only seen french toast, but they have it with ice cream, too.

Yeah, I hear ya about waiting too long. It's too bad that you couldn't do more with your hubby. Heck, it's too bad he couldn't enjoy Japan more, period! I just hope you can create great memories before you go X3 I knew it was time for me to go, but I don't see myself staying away for long.

I think the waffle with ice cream was on the dessert menu at Denny's XD; I was a little confused when I first got there and both pancakes and waffles were sweetened up and treated like junk food X3; Aw man, I miss Japanese Denny's ._. I want someplace I can go to get seasonal dessert menus and an always trusty omurice.

Aw man, maybe Starbucks IS just mornings there XD; I always noticed ramen and hamburger places being open late there, McDonald's usually has a couple of 24hrs locations in those places. I think they figure that people who are out late or drinking want to eat more than they want just coffee.
