STUPID movie alert...or maybe...its just me
DONT go see 'The Village' ! I went and saw it yesterday. It totally sucked. Maybe I am just too stupid to get it? I will explain what I thought it was about to...who ever..is reading..this..
Ok there is 'The Village' which is full of..Amish[sp?] people and it is ran by "The Elders"
There are 'those we dont speak of' that live in the woods. And they love the color red. And all the village people are afraid of 'those we dont speak of' because they kill people if they come into the forrest. Well...there is this girl and her name is Ivy and she is blind. Well..Ivy falls in love with Lucious(sp?icouldlookinharrypotter2bookbutistolazy) and Noah is in love with Ivy. But again Ivy is in love with Lucious. So Noah stabs Lucious. And Ivy has to go to the towns to get medicine for her love so he doesnt die. But to get to the towns she has to go through the woods. So before she goes her dad(one of the elders) takes her into the barn that is not supposed ot be used and her shows her something. You dont find out what that something is until latert though. Well, she goes into the woods wearing this yellow coat (thhe monster things dont like yellow)and she isnt afraid of the monster things. The reason she isnt afraid is because that something was a suit that looked like 'those we dont speak of'. It turns out that..the elders are actually 'those we dont speak of'. they dress up in these big red suites and prowl around the woods so that no one will come in the woods. This is where I got confused. Ivy gets through the woods and climbs this fence and then there is this wildlifew car that pulls up and this guy (a very cute one might i add) pops out. This is the part that confuses me. Right before she climbs the fence and hears the car, you see some of the elders opening up a box and holding modern day pictures and modern day things...the movie is set in...a time that was long ago...o..she asks the guy who he is and he tells her and then she says she needs medicine...so he goes and gets her some...then she climbs back over the fence...and goes back to lucious and says "Im here...its ok" and the movie ends...am I just..an idiot or...did that movie sound...stupid?
