My grandfather is smiling.
I know I haven't posted in a while, and it is my opinion that Livejournal may be on it's last limb; beaten out by the more popular Myspaces and Facebooks of the world. However, in the spirit of the underdog, saying that even livejournal can beat the odds, I decided to make this post.
First, here's to the YANKEES and their 220 million dollar pay-roll!!!
Now, more importantly, here's to the Tigers, who made up for the royals sweep last weekend, and made me a very happy guy. So much for limping into the playoffs. This feels just like when the Pistons ousted the Lakers in 04, and this was only the 1st round! The A's are a solid team, but out of the four remaining the tigers have as fair a chance as anyone. How crazy would the World Series be?!
Furthermore, here's to the baseball "experts." Yeah, experts on being WRONG!!!

Lastly, here's to Michigan weather... I will be pulling out my winter coat and hat to wear down to Comerica this weekend. As well as my poncho for the possible rain/SNOW! mix. Notice I said poncho and not umbrella, because people who bring umbrellas to baseball games are jerks who obstruct the view of people behind them.
ps. Chicago is a really nice town, and Therese and Tom are really nice people for letting Hol and I stay there with them.
