Silence of Darkness
Screams of silence forgotten in the darkness
Lost souls living in the shadows of the world
The Light is yet another faded blur
Even the dimmest light is too much to grasp
Lost mentality after the last fall
No recovery for the broken soul
Selfishness is a barricade to all humbling
Struggle to reason for their hopes fall
So they stumble but manage to blame the Truth
Truth is at fault for a folly it did not commit
A soul who once crept slowly towards the dim light
Turned around and can see his shadow before him
The deeper he proceeds in the world
The more the light fades and the darkness takes over
Soon after this soul is found in pitch darkness
No sense of happiness or hope is evident
An experience of Pure Love will never prevail
