k o i l s 18: you heard Nick's horror story right
sten17me: it really made me miss the nick.
sten17me: (tear)
sten17me: no? what happened?
k o i l s 18: you ddin't hear about Prague!?
sten17me: no tell me all about it!
k o i l s 18: oh my god. okay. well.. Nick and I went to Prague
k o i l s 18: he flew Glasgow-Paris (actually Beauvais, which is an hour outside of Paris by bus) and then the next day we took a 15 hour bus ride to Prague.
k o i l s 18: and then a 15 hour bus ride back. but there was traffic in germany.
sten17me: oh my god, 16 hours!
sten17me: 15, i mean. haha
k o i l s 18: and nick's flight out of beauvais was at 2:30 on Monday. and we were supposed to get into Paris at 9:30. and his bus to the airport was at 11:30
k o i l s 18: but because of traffic, we didn't get into Paris until 11:30
k o i l s 18: and didn't make it to the bus until like 12:15...and normally there is like a bus an hour but there wasn't for some reason
k o i l s 18: and there was mass chaos and i ended up throwing him in a taxi with some really sketchy people includikng a polish tennis player
sten17me: haha, oh my!
k o i l s 18: neither of us had any money really so i gave him all i had... and i knew that if he missed that flight there was another one at 10 pm
k o i l s 18: so i go home and the next morning i wake up and Nick's still not back yet
sten17me: :-$
k o i l s 18: so I freak out be cause i think maybe he died. Hannah can't find him, he didn't have his cell on him... ahh. thought he was dead
k o i l s 18: 39 hours after we left Prague, nick gets back to Edinburgh.
k o i l s 18: apparently, when he got to Beauvais, he had to bail out the polish tennis player
sten17me: holy shit
k o i l s 18: who didn't ahve ennough money to pay for the cab.
k o i l s 18: so nick emptied his bank account. for an hour long cab ride.
sten17me: oh my god, how much was it?
k o i l s 18: and THEN they woudn't let him board his flight
k o i l s 18: about 100 euro
k o i l s 18: AND then he didn't have any money OR A CREDIT CARD
k o i l s 18: and couldn't get on the next flight. and had to call his parents in CA
sten17me: this is def. a nightmare.
k o i l s 18: to get their credit card infor
k o i l s 18: and THEN...after 9 HOURS
k o i l s 18: in the shittiest little french airport ever
k o i l s 18: there was something wrong with the plane
k o i l s 18: and they flew someone in from Dublin to fix it
k o i l s 18: so he didn't take off until just before midnight
k o i l s 18: and then got to Glasgow, had missed the bus back and couldn't afford a train or somethinhg
k o i l s 18: and had to sleep in the airport
k o i l s 18: and then finally got back the next morning.
k o i l s 18: i thought he was dead
k o i l s 18: i almost called the american embassy
k o i l s 18: hannah had to talk me down

sten17me: and i was complaining about missing my flight to edinburgh!
