(no subject)
I feel so deliciously redneck at the moment... its 2am im lounging in PJ pants and a beater drinking beer out of a can (back story: at work after service my sous chef hands out beer, and some reason he keeps giving my heineken and they are popped before i get them so i cant really ask for something else, and like i care its free beer, but, when i was at the packie {Aka liquior store} i got a 12 of heineken in cans because i knew id have no room in the fridge for bottles)
But yeah sous chef
my job works me from the time i wake up to the time i go to sleep with about 30 minutes of awake me time, oh, and i love it, dont ask me how or why its okay i work sooooo many hours, i just am... the job is great, im a line cook so i totally have SOME power over prep cooks and the wait staff (cooks and wait staff generally dont get along, and its great having power over them since with tips they make more... bastards) the other cooks all like me, and the chefs leave me be when i get in, no one tells me what to do, im totally responcable for my station (they do ask me to do things and make sure things that need to get done get done, but totally not because im not working, just somethings need to get done before hand, like, if theres calamari defrosted that needs to be cleans and cut and stored so it doesnt sit in the warm kitchen too long and go bad). Im covered in burns, cuts, and blisters (i have an AMAZING blister where the knife rubs against that spot on the palm side of my index finger where the first section from the palm and the palm connect, its going to turn into an A-FUCKING-MAZING scar/claus i cant fucking wait).... did i mention i love my job? One downside, the waitresses are fucking gorgeous, and i havnt had any in a long ass time, and they wear REALLLLLLY tight pants and their asses are totally outlined, i know how perved that sounds, but, i cant be blamed!!! oh and im no where as bad as the other cooks so there >_<
So yeah, i get Mondays and tuesday off, so people make some plans with me gawd damn it, i KNOW a few of you live in my state >_
