This summer will not be good
So, it hit me a few days ago. This summer is going to blow. No offense to anyone who is going to be here this summer, but I just don't hang out with y'all that much. Let's go over why this summer is going to blow:
1. Sarah got accepted into the MIT Summer Research Program and will be in Boston all summer (believe me, I'm as excited as she is about going, but she's just gonna be gone)
2. Most of the guy friends I would usually hang out with will be summer schooling
3. My brother Paul and fishing compadre is moving Monday to Alabama for his job
4. My brother Shawn is leaving during the summer to go to fighter weapons school in Nevada
5. I can't find a job in Environmental Engineering/Conservation and will prolly end up working for my dad again
6. I don't have anywhere I can go fishing around Baton Rouge
7. Most of the people I do know who will be in town now get drunk on a regular basis, something which I don't do
8. I will be living at home.
So, cheer me up, and if you'll be in town often and wanna hang out, drop me a line. Also, if you know anywhere I can go fishing on a regular basis around Baton Rouge, please let me know, that will maintain my sanity with nothing else to do.
