Well, normally I keep inventory and the deputy headmaster brews it, although, I suppose the end of term is stressful for everyone. A bit surprisingly stressful. *Rosie is very diplomatic, but her smile does go rather thin at the edges when she's annoyed with someone she shouldn't be annoyed with.* Thankfully he'll make up some more, I'm a serviceable potioneer but bulk brewing isn't something I'm very used to.
Oh, I didn't think about him. That does make things easier, I guess.
He's had a rough couple of days. We've had some meltdowns in Slytherin. Mostly fifth years. Today a couple of kids in Slytherin were practicing potions in their dorm and their was an explosion. It was small and no one got hurt but there was a bit to sort out.
Oh no, that's rather bad, isn't it? You know, I completely forgot he's your head of house. *And now she feels terrible for being annoyed at him, poor man, he has to try to wrangle the Slytherins.* Everyone's agreed to stop trying to brew around soft, flammable surfaces, didn't they?
Believe me, you couldn't possibly stop someone that age from doing terribly inadvisable nonsense. Why, Morgan, one of my sisters, I can't tell you how many times I had to smuggle her back into our rooms at the worst possible times of night and every time, truly every time she forgot the doors would lock behind her.
Of course, I never wrangled an entire House's worth of people, which sounds exhausting on a good day. I start to get nervous when there's four people in here altogether.
Yeah. Being a prefect. An be stressful. I know it's not as hard as what you do, or the other professors do. But it has its challenges. I mean, it's fun. I want to be head girl. I guess I like leadership.
I don't know about comparing things, after all, the professors are trained and have wages, which I'll tell you can go a great way towards making a job feel much easier! I'm glad it's fun and you enjoy it, I think you'd make a very good head girl.
I'm a little sad but I'm okay. The breakup wasn't nasty or anything. We're still friends. We broke up because we're better as friends. It's the right thing, it's just a little sad.
Hmm, I've been there. Sometimes I think we mourn the relationship we thought could've been more than the one that was, but in the end it's always best to get on with things as they are.
Oh, yes, it certainly does. I'm sure you've heard all the advice and well-meaning things? They'll get bored and move on, don't let it get to you, your true friends won't care, so on.
Can you make more? Or do you buy them from somewhere?

They did. He set them straight. But it was a thing. If I had known, they were doing I would have stopped them. But I was in class.

I didn't have siblings. That must have been nice.
I try to keep order but it's hard.

I know. I agree. I prefer honesty over lying to myself.
But people are gossiping a little and that makes it a bit harder.
