Somebody on my flist mentioned it, I clicked on it and found it really intriguing, thequillstation, a meta community on Lost fanfic. I really enjoyed their "The Joys and Pains" discussions (like The Joys and Pains of Writing Jack/Sawyer or The Joys and Pains of Writing Sawyer/Kate) where writers talk about the history with their pairing and how it evolved.
There's also a cool discussion on Slash, Het and Gen and what it means to people, what they identify with, etc.
