Every since tielan called for people to do Teyla (from Stargate Atlantis) picturespams, I absolutely loved the idea. So here is my deeply inferior attempt. It also ended up being more of a Rachel than a Teyla picturespam.

What befuddles (and kinda angers me) is RL has such *gorgeous* hair and still TPTB put her in that fugly wig. Then again, these are the same PTB that put Jason Mamoa in a nightmare of a wig when he cut his dreads because.. the dreads were such an 'integral' part of his character. *insert eyeroll*

I was shocked when I saw a picture of Rachel without a wig for the first time. Mostly because I'm really clueless about wigs. Pretty much everytime I see a with and without picture I'm shocked where on earth they would put all that regular hair.

I have to admit I never checked for it, but chances are they did.

As for Jason, I read somewhere that it was in the last season that he cut the dreads and they made him wear a dreads wig and he complained about it quite a bit because it is quite unwieldy and heavy.

Now, I'll be the first one to say that I love his thread and that they are full of hotness, but would it really be that hard to have Ronon cut his hair? Like maybe some "Ronon is really sad about X and cuts his hair to show his grief"? Lame oldie, but always effective.

Besides, it's the last season, so what are you worried about? Ratings? At this point?

It's gonna be so weird maybe seeing John and Rodney in other roles. I wasn't relly much of a shipper but Keller was ANNOYING. I wasn't really the actress' greatest fan to begin with on Firefly or Wonderfalls, but yeah, realy annoying on SGA.

I love her gorgeous athletic figure. It's fantastic to see a woman looking like that and acting, rather than the waifs we ususually get

I remember being completely shocked when I read that she was born in 1971. I would have guessed her much younger. Makes me wonder whether who cast her got his head chopped off right after he did, because she really is just so not the typical space bimbo you would expect a SciFi show to cast.

Rachel is gorgeous and should have been allowed to smile, laugh, and dance way more in the show. *sighs*

So much potential; so much failure to use it.

I really hope she get another regular tv show after this. I would hate not having the chance to see her on tv regularly :(
