Happy Did It to Me!
TCR: I totally wish the pope would actually come. Too bad he probably doesn't have that much of a sense of humor. But just how cool would it be?
I finished something today that I've been wanting to for a while. (nothing big, just really obnoxious) Now I want to reward myself by sitting down and writing lengthy self indulgent meta before I get back to do some of the many other things I'm supposed to do. You know, procrastinate!
So, what shall I do:
- Meta on Christian/Oliver vs. Deniz/Roman and how they are written and what their different types of appeal might be.
- Meta on the depiction of gay men on television (inspired by the recent AfterElton article on networks and gay characters) and about how important and great I think it is that Olli gets to have random casual sex while Roman and Luke don't.
- Meta on undercover Germans in fandom and wondering whether German society has a strange more fluid ideology of sexuality (at least in their fiction)
- Meta on soaps in general and whether they make a good fannish source
- Meta on wish fulfillment and how much as fans we really want to have in our canon. If there is something as too much canon (I would say QAF, Oz and Torchwood would imply no).
