Stuff on tv and elsewhere

I'm torn on whether I like banners on fics. I'm pretty sure I hate them and find them annoying, but damn randomly scrolling by Pullo and Vorenus:

Just makes me sort of happy.

24: Wow, Babe's owner is evil. Not sure I like this twist. Morris being abducted by Fayed is kinda unrealistic. Where is my hottie McHot Assad? It's odd that so many people thought that this episode was so much stronger than the previous ones. I actually didn't care that much for this one. I mean, the main dramatic stuff was Jack torturing Graem (oh, intense, creepy brother!torture; I don't wanna know what kind of games those two were playing as kids...) and since torture isn't exactly that novel or that pleasing to look at I guess it fell slightly flat for me. Especially since Jack torturing somebody is sort of anticlimactic. After all we know he will eventually find out what he needs to know. It's not like we care about what *exactly* he is saying. And since we haven't seen anything from Fayed in ages there wasn't any deeper sense of pressure either. I could definitely go with more terrorists and less conspiracy.
Jack's nephew is cute. Much prettier than Kim (which could be due to him having less lines, admittedly). Oh and the president was boring.

Criminal Minds: Not bad. Still, felt kinda sensational. So I'm torn about it. I feel like it was well done (wow, great job with the dog scene, doing creepy stuff without actually showing anything), but it lacked the certain something something that I've come to expect from CM. So I wasn't that pleased on a story level, but at least the human level was nice (everybody being shown as going out together for example). Loooove the previews. Can't wait for the next episode.

Rome: Rome still owns my soul. GOD I love it. Seriously. I really don't have much to say other than ahdlkfhakjhdfkjag.

I'm starting to think that it is time to invest in a new computer. I was playing the new Sam&Max episodes and it takes ridiculously long to load between different rooms.

24, rome, criminal minds
