My Valentines Day Weekend
So I went home Thursday and, as such, didn't have time to update. Left for Stratford with Michael Friday, where we celebrated Valentines Day. I really liked the place we stayed at. Very nice, yet cozy. And they had a Valentine's Day dinner special, which was awesome because the food was good and the atmosphere was even better. They had a lady playing piano; I liked it very much. And baked alaska for dessert! Yummy.
We exchanged gifts after dinner. I bought him a bunch of stuff, including a Spiderman and a Wolverine Pez dispensers. I saw them and thought of him. And he loved them. :) He loved the rest of my gifts too, but those are private. ;) And he bought me lots of nice stuff, too. And I got not one, but FOUR roses. Three red and one white. Very prettiful. And other, private, gifts. *wink*
We stayed up until about 3 in the morning...then woke up and got up at 9:30am. Impressive...especially for me...especially considering I got up at 7:30am Friday morning.
We wanted to order room service, but because the hotel was doing a buffet, we couldn't order off a menu. They could just bring us up stuff. So we decided just to get dressed and go down.
And then we spent the remainder of the day hanging out in the room, until dinner, wen we went out. I have to get Michael to scan the lobster pictures for me! Basically, I embarrassed him (though not really) in the restaurant because, after he compared me to a lobster (I was all dressed in red and was acting silly), I started to make little claws with my hands and big eyes and pretended to be a lobster. Afterwards we took pictures of me like that. *g* You had to be there.
We watched some Smallville in the room that night, unfortunately, I forgot all about the other things I'd downloaded to surprise him with until today. So I promised him that he could watch the Robin Williams live on Broadway I downloaded during my reading week.
We slept in a little this morning though, but at least we were packed and ready on time for check-out! Of course, not getting out until 11, breakfast was kind of out of the question...so we got Taco Bell instead. We have an addiction. ;) I should call him, see if he's up for getting some for dinner tonight... hehe
After eating, we drove home. We stopped at Tim Horton's and I'm pissed off at them. I ordered a hot chocolate with some cream. (The cream just makes it taste better!) And when I open it, after we're back on the highway, I discover it's a coffee with cream. Fuckers! They're so conditioned that they hear the word cream and forget everything else they heard. Argh!
And I'm in a pissy mood. Got home and ended up in a fight with my sister... But I want to lock that entry, so I'll write it up later. *sigh*
