I got to go to Game 5 last night! Detroit won in overtime, putting them through to the Stanley Cup Finals. And then tickets immediately went on sale at the box office. Colin and I got tickets for Games 2, 5 & 7. We won't get to go to Game 5 though because it's the same night as my sister's Jack and Jill. Here's hoping the series goes 7 games!!!
It was a fun night - we went with another couple and there was a lot of alcohol consumed. I had two giant souvenir cups of "Jungle Juice" - one with an extra shot. I actually got nauseous from all the sugar. In the future I won't drink so much at games. It's harder to concentrate on the ice that way.
Also, Go Penguins!
Haha yeah, we won't be experiencing the same kind of camaraderie in the next series...I'm trading in my Wings sweater for my Penguins jersey.
I still wish I could go to a game in Pittsburgh.

I just heard this on the radio yesterday. Apparently Adam might be the winner after all. AT&T provided technology to fans at the Kris events in Arkansas that allowed them to "power-text" which means sending like 10 texts at a time. And they did NOT provide the same technology to the Adam events in California! And, of course, Kris got like 31 million votes from his home state and they're credited with giving him the win so....CONTROVERSY!!
