i find it hard to tell you, i find it hard to take
Since I never post to LJ anymore, I'm going to try and change the way that I update. So here's my first stab at point form blathering and linking to various things that make me happy right now. Maybe this will lead to me updating more!
* I went to Wonderland with Colin today since he gets American holidays off and I'm still gainfully unemployed. We had SO MUCH FUN! I also blew $175 on a Platinum Pass so that I don't have to pay when we go to Cedar Point either. It should be worth it - we're planning 2 trips but it's only 2 hours from Windsor, so close enough for day trips even.
* I wish I had seen this post before the top 2 for American Idol had been revealed. Funny! And awesome!
* Yes, I watched American Idol for the first time this season. Adam is my favourite. And then Adam again. And then Allison. And then Kris. I'm okay with him winning, mainly because I didn't want Adam singing that crappy "No Boundaries" song. It feels like it's ripping off "The Climb" and when you're ripping off Miley Cyrus? Yeah, bad.
* Polyvore is ridiculously addictive and I am in love with it. I blame ashley entirely.
* Not only is this gorgeous, I think it would also be awesome to use. Colin said he wants one too. The jet makes it, I think. ♥
* Congratulations, iced94over65!!! I can't wait to attend your wedding. :D
* I haven't even seen the Star Trek movie and I think the Spock pick up lines are hilarious.
* Adam Lambert's (rumoured) ex-boyfriend is funny. No, I don't embed videos. It never shows up on LJ for me.
* Neither do voice posts. Just so everyone knows, I hate it when you do voice posts. Crashes my entire friends page and then I have to filter you out. Sometimes I forget to change the filter for a while. So if you're wondering why I don't know what's going on in your life sometimes, that's probably why.
* Going to Game 5 in Detroit on Wednesday. Potentially an elimination game. It's going to be awesome!!!
* It looks like I'm going to get my Pens/Wings rematch after all. GO PENGUINS!!! <3
* My cousin got married this weekend. Her second one. The first wedding didn't last a year. She rushed into that one and I think she rushed into this one, so. Then she went the full nine yards. When I saw her walking down the aisle in full blusher it was hard not to snark. But then, this is the same woman who was brazen enough to not only have a shower for this wedding too but to write "monetary shower" on the invitations. Yeah, of course you don't need gifts - you already got them all from us the first time around.
* Still no grades. Boo!
