what happened to the beauty i had inside of me?
So it's been almost a month since I've written in here. It's hard to believe, I guess the weeks have just been flying by. And really, I've had no urge to write in here at all. Even now, I'm writing more because I feel it's been too long since I last wrote than because of any real urge.
Work has been going well. Carla had her baby last weekend, so since Monday I've been on my own. It's pretty exciting. Everyone there is so fun and nice!
This weekend was the soccer tournament. Sorry, "fun festival." Which basically meant giving up my Saturday to play regular season games. But on the upside, we faced Poland, who beat us 6-1 last time we played them and were first place and undefeated...until now. That's right, we gave them their first loss of the season! That was pretty sweet. Especially because I'm pretty sure we won that game using pure strategy. :D
This is one of mine and Colin's "off" weekends, which is kind of crappy. I'm trying to keep myself from getting too wrapped up in thoughts of him and missing him, but it's hard. As much as I resent the time drain that soccer is sometimes, it's really a good thing because it keeps me busy and my thoughts occupied.
I can't remember the name of one of the twins I coached last year. It's really pissing me off.
Colin and I are trying to plan out the Canada Day weekend (next weekend). We'll see how it goes...so far it's not looking like I'm going to get what I want. :-\
Dad just took me out to teach me standard...I kept getting flustered.
