all deliberate speed
So I should be in bed right now, but instead I'm waiting up to see how the Canucks/Stars game goes. I'm blaming Colin and Gen. Colin is responsible for making me sign up in his family's hockey pool and thus CARE about the results of hockey games, and Gen is my other half and thus ALWAYS responsible (but especially in hockey-related matters.) I'm doing really well in terms of points so far, but I'm not sure how the trend will go. I chose players from Vancouver, Pittsburgh and Detroit, so we'll see...
Otherwise...things are good. We talked Sunday, sorted our crap.
The entire Easter weekend was pretty fantastic. Colin came over after dinner Friday night to spend some time with me and my family. And then on Sunday I had dinner with his family. And then we gave each other Easter presents! I gave him wine glasses for his apartment (but see they have fish engraved in them, so they're kind of easter-y :P). And he gave me LOTS of chocolate (seriously, I'm going to get so fat and it is going to be AWESOME) and a dozen pink roses. <3
Monday was our 6 months. We haven't celebrated monthlies so far, feels too high school for either of us, but I wanted to do something for 6 because it's kind of a big one.
He took the day off for me!! So I went over after class (1230) and he drove us down to Byron for lunch. The restaurant he took me to was PERFECT for a lunch date, and the food and conversation were both amazing. I surprised him by treating. :) Afterwards we went for a bit of a drive and it was so nice. And then we went shopping!! Haha I bought electronics, he bought clothes. It was awesome!
At the mall, Marco and Alicia called inviting me to supper. When they heard Colin was with me, they invited him too. However, he wasn't in the mood for turkey AGAIN and I didn't want to go without him so we didn't go.
So instead we went back to his place for a bit. :D
And then we went to his mom's for dinner and to watch 24.
And then I came home and started working on the assignment I had due the next day. :P
It was a truly great day.
He has been so, so sweet to me lately, I almost don't know what to do with him sometimes. But I love it. And he makes me really happy. :)
THREE DAYS!!!! <3
