crimson and clover over and over
This month is going to kill me. Every week I have at least two due dates and/or tests. It really, really bites. I can't WAIT until December 6th!!
I had a math test yesterday. It didn't go as well as I would have liked, which sucks because the material isn't hard at all. My professor is just a douche, is all. He totally did NOT give us enough time.
After my test, I went to the gym to work out and de-stress. That was a fun experience. I went and did my cardio and it went really well. I really pushed myself, burned a lot of calories and worked up a great sweat. So I headed out to the weight room, which involves walking through the UCC. So I'm sweaty as all hell, red in the face, and still catching my breath.
And guess who I run into!!
Now most everyone who I've told this story to immediately guesses Michael. But it's so much better than that. I ran into Michael *with his girlfriend*! That was fun!
Our exchange was pretty much as follows:
Me: *waves awkwardly*
Michael: "Hi."
Me: *takes out earphones* "Hi..."
Him: "Um, well, enjoy your workout"
Me: *still panting and out of breath* "Yeah, bye."
He didn't introduce me to his girlfriend or anything. We didn't say a single word to each other. And I may have come off as a bit rude. But really, the situation was awkward as hell. And excuse me for any rudeness, but dude, I don't like running into people I LIKE when I've been working out and am gross like that! I really didn't want to run into them! And really, I was still out of breath. Excuse me for not chatting. :P
But really, that FUN incident aside, it was a really awesome work out. I am so sore today because of it! Getting dressed this morning was actually hard! And my abs were killing me afterward last night.
Which was fun, you know, because Colin and I went out to see Borat, which meant two solid hours of me laughing my ass off and giving my abs even more of a work out. :P
It was a really nice date. We'd wanted to see the movie last Friday (Friday dates has become a tradition :D) but it sold out and we saw The Prestige instead. So, to make sure that didn't happen again, he went and got our tickets around lunchtime. Which ended up being a really good plan because it sold out super early again.
He picked me up at 6 and we went to Swiss Chalet for dinner, then headed over to the theatre at 7 for the 745 show to make sure we got good seats, which we did. :)
After the movie we headed back to his place, where his roommate Mike had invited a bunch of people over for poker. So I got to meet more of their group of friends, which was cool. Unfortunately, it kind of prevented us from being able to hook up, but I bore it like a true trooper. So we sat in the living room talking with Drew and his fiancee Sasha of 1-2 hours while a bunch of the guys played poker.
Then Drew and Sasha headed off and it was past midnight, so he said he'd take me home and was like "it can be a *long* drive home." I said okay. :) So we went for a drive and then I suggested that we maybe "not drive" for a while. And it was fun. ;) Still got in nice and early, around 130.
Like I said, it was a really good night!
I'm totally starting to get invested in this relationship. If he doesn't bring up the topic of exclusivity soon, I think I will. Because I've gotten to the point where I really don't like the idea of him seeing anybody else. Hee. :)
