In brief...
Karen, Nadia, James and I went down to Niagara Falls yesterday to hit up the casinos. It was a lot of fun, and I won some money on the penny slots. (Such the high roller. :P) It made me miss Vegas a lot, however. I especially missed the free drinks while gambling. *wibbles*
Overslept again this morning. Boo! Also got yelled at by stupid people at work today. The Dye&Durham lady was rude to me. My Dad said I should have canceled our order and told her that she just lost us as a customer. I was like "I'm allowed to do that??" Apparently being the boss's daughter *does* have some perks beyond getting away with being late to work! Whoo!
Daddy also took me to lunch. It was really nice. We talked about soccer, then about my future. I wasn't looking forward to that conversation, but it actually went really well and I feel a lot better now. I have plans and back up plans and I think I'm going to be okay. It means so much to me that my parents' first concern is always what's best for me, but that they won't try to tell me what to do. Even when I ask. :P
My parents, Nadia, James and I had a family game night after dinner tonight. My Dad was the big winner at Black Jack. I didn't do too well, though James lost all his chips so I kept giving him some of mine so that he could still play. And then I'd yell at him every time he lost that too. :P After we played some poker. Texas Hold Em. I thought I was going to suck as I'd never played before, but I actually did pretty well. My Dad and I knocked everyone else out, and then I bluffed him out. :-D
Going camping Thursday. We should totally bring cards. And alcohol. Because gambling's just not as fun sober. ;)
My middle nail on my right hand just broke about half an hour ago. Half way down. Oh fuck, it hurts. NOT COOL, BODY!
I should go to bed now.
