Wish List!

Step One
Make a post (public, friends locked, filtered, whichever you're comfortable with) to your journal. The post should contain your list of ten holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all -- something simple and practical for the medium (fanfiction, journal layout, icon, etc.); to medium-sized (DVD, CD, a smallish physical gift around ten or twenty dollars); or something large (computer, television ... angsty bishounen). The important thing is to make sure that these wishes are all things you really, truly want.
Step Two
Surf around your friends list (or friend's friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. Now, here's the important part. If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure -- if you have something you don't want that someone else does, something you won't use, or know where you can get something they want.
There are no rules with this, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just wish and it might come true -- give and you might receive. And you will come away with the feeling of having made someone's holiday special.
I've already seen a few things that I can help with, so I'm very excited and figured I might as well post a list of my own (though I don't really expect any of this...but if you need my address for whatever reason, email me!) I invite everyone on my friends list to do the same.
1. Anything off my Amazon Wish List.
2. Any easy-to-follow recipes for really yummy meals.
3. Awesome Harry/Draco or James/Lily wallpapers. (If anyone could even point me in the right direction, that would be awesome!)
4. The recipes for some fun cocktails and mixed drinks.
5. Fandom shot glasses. (I still need to get Michael to draw a drunk Winnie the Pooh on the blank shot glass I have.)
6. Clothes. Especially cute little shirts for hitting the bars in that don't require me to wear a strapless bra.
7. Recs to really good Harry/Draco, James/Lily, or Narcissa/Lucius fic (especially of the getting together variety) or art. If someone wanted to write me a fic/draw me a picture that included all three, it would make my year!!
8. More paid LJ time and more time for my extra icons...They're getting close to expiring now. :(
9. Send me music!! Old 80's stuff that I've loved forever, new indie stuff that I've never heard before, I don't care. I love music. I need more of it on this laptop. *nods*
10. Snail mail. I'm not the first person to ask for this and I probably won't be the last, but I just love getting letters in the mail! Makes me feel special. :)
11. No more drama. No more ants. No more fighting with my boyfriend. No more people being mad at me and not telling me why. No more people not talking to me. No more dirty dishes. No more money problems. No more pain that makes walking hard. (Yes, this is more than one wish.)
Also, if anyone makes a list, it would be really awesome if they commented with a link to it, so that I can keep track and do what I can to make everyone else's Christmas wishes come true!
