Back to school

Huh. I can't feel my foot. Not even when I bounce it against the ground. That's an odd feeling. It just feels...rubbery. Not even pins and needles or anything!

Today was my first day of classes. I was surprised at how excited I was. I guess I'm just ready to get back into the swing of things. I only had an hour anyway because tutorials are canceled. So I had my first english class. I think I'm going to like it. The prof seems very passionate about english, but also tough. She reminds me of a lot of my past english teachers, the ones I really liked. And that's always a good sign. She's also determined to learn all our names. There's only about 30-40 of us, so it's not impossible, but I just think that's so cool!

I met a few people in my class, so that's cool. And there's also a guy in my class that went to my high school. But I fucking can't remember his name! Oh well, I don't remember particularly liking him.

After class, I walked over to Michael's. I was cold (his a/c's on high) and tired, so I ended up pulling him into his bed with me to cuddle. And of course we fell asleep for about an hour. But it was a good nap! Too bad he woke me up and made me leave because he'd made plans. :( I was like "okay, go. I'll just sleep here!" But yeah, couldn't do that. I ended up leaving there with my clothing and hair all disheveled. I must have looked like I just had lots of sex or something! lol, not exactly the look I was going for...

Oh, and I woke up early this morning, as planned, to try and get a parking spot. *sigh* That didn't work out so well. Apparently, all the outside parking is taken. All that's left is below ground. Which, fine, it's a little more expensive. That wouldn't bother me...except that I have a jeep. My car will simply NOT fit. :( But they gave me a visitor's pass for the week so that my car won't get towed or stickered. And the woman I was talking to said that there were a few spots that seemed shady, so she'd look into them and get back to me. PLEASE let this work! If it doesn't, I might have to be like "Okay, I'll pay the basement parking fee, but can I trade with someone upstairs? So that they're paying the regular fee for basement parking and I've got a spot I can get into?" Because that's better then having nowhere to put my car.

And Michael and I are going to the book store again tomorrow morning. That should be fun... At least now I know that the used book store has a book I need. *sigh* I kept looking at it and thinking it wasn't the right one because it said "British edition" but my sheet didn't say that. But apparently, no, it was the right one.

Stupid print-sheets.
