Subject: Hockey
Last sunday I tried out for this travel hockey team. I've been playing hockey pretty much this whole time since I went to NARCh (North American Roller Hockey Championships) with my last travel team, The CPH Swarm, in 2003.
I don't know if I told you guys this, but at that tournament, I won Top Goalie. Not to brag, but it basically means that when I was 15, I was the best goalie, for my age, in all of North America. Pretty good for starting off with my brother shooting tapeballs at me ;)
Anyways, I got an email today saying I made the team. It was good to know that I will once again be able to play tournament hockey again. It's been one of the greatest thrills in my life so far. And despite doing it for about 6 years, it NEVER gets old.

If any of you don't know, my girlfriend's name is Gen. I've said it a couple of times, but there you go just in case you never know. Anyways, 3 days ago, on Sept. 19th, we celebrated our 2 year anniversary together. It was a great night, but I wont go into too much details unless comments suggest it.
This post ended up being a lot longer than usual. Oh yeah, and I move into UCR this Saturday. Exciting stuff. This whole week has been pretty good ;)
