Aha! I knew it!

I woke up this morning with a dead fly on my pillow. This would be more disturbing rather than particularly notable  if I hadn’t predicted this occurrence before I fell asleep.

It started like this. After I had been in bed for between ten and fifteen minutes, a fly zoomed past my face in the dimly lit darkness of my bedroom. Then it went quiet. ( Read more... )

I think a cat would sort out your problem...the one around here grabs flies no problem...

Aha! I was beginning to think, what a heartless cat owner she is. Whew!! My heart has stopped thudding. The world is back to rights. :)

Yes, you see, having grown up with animals, this senario sounds very familiar. Or dogs when they chase a fly can spend hours snapping, missing and destroying. Like, there goes the fly, jump up on bed with muddy paws so as to get it, snap, miss, repeat for hours. ;)
