I've got a job! I start with HarperCollins on Monday, May 18.
AHHHH IT'S OVER. At long last, my unemployment has turned into vacation! I can lie on the couch and snack without guilt. I can treat myself to a shopping spree knowing I'll have income to replace what I spend. I can take over paying rent again! And I can go out and play in the city without worrying about where my life is going. Well... maybe I'll still worry about that, but in this case I won't have to worry about whether it's going.
I'ma go make a victory sammich.
I can also go home this weekend. Anyone want to do anything Friday night?
