Baby groundhogs! My resident pasture poodles had babies who made their first appearance yesterday. Cuuuuuuuuute!!!!
I don't want to get too close and in their faces right now - both parental figures have been out and about with the little ones showing them the ropes, and I don't want to interfere. "The ropes" include pulling themselves up onto the old picnic bench I sheltered their ground entrance with and sunning themselves like they have their own personal cabana boy, trying not to fall into the old doggie dish I filled with water for them, and playing rock paper scissors with the honey bees for the best clover til I placate them with more apples.
Momma was out sunning herself this morning. They're so freekin' cute!
