fanfiction history
I came across an interesting site the other day...
Fan Fiction History Wiki
It seems to still be in the construction phase, with a lot of aspects of fandom yet to be written up. Nonetheless it's still an interesting read about the world of fanfiction and how it all began, where various fannish words come from, etc etc.
And it's probably a good place to send non-fannish friends if they ask "...what's fanfiction....??"
Or it might just confuse the hell out of them, LOL !
And, of course, someone else had to create Fandom Wank Wiki ;-)
