new pets, the sequel...
Two weeks ago I posted about getting new pets.
Well, I shoulda waited a couple days before posting (instead of the day I bought them) because my two poor little African dwarf frogs didn't make it more than 18 hours after I brought them home... *sniff*
I don't know what went wrong. I suspect they were sick before I bought 'em, or maybe something was amiss with my fish tank, or both.
Anyhow, I made a few adjustments in the aquarium, then went to a different pet store a week ago, and bought two more ADFs.
And I'm happy to report that my 2 new froggies are alive and well after 7 days.
I decided to keep the same names, Fili and Kili (named after 2 of the dwarves in 'The Hobbit'), since the first 2 so named didn't even make it through the night.
They're adorkable little guys, kinda goofy actually, and they swim around sometimes like little drunken sailors!
