I've been wanting to do this for a while but never got around to it. I guess, I'm just bored enough to do it now? So rather than start another HBO show, I decided to picspam my favorites so far.

DO NOT POST ON TUMBLR I will be posting them myself

I LOVE HBO. A LOT. To me, HBO truly does provide quality television with great stories to tell. Each of the HBO shows I've seen (or really, finished) mean something different to me with their unforgettable stories and characters.

Past and current HBO shows I've watched are Generation Kill, Band of Brothers, Oz, The Wire, Rome, Flight of the Conchords, Carnivale, and True Blood. I intend to watch/finish Six Feet Under, Deadwood, and Angels of America. Feel free to recommend me some more. Damn, sorry, I just got all listy but yes, my point is I really trust HBO with giving me good television even if it does take some great shows away sometimes. They are actually some HBO shows I've really lost interest in but this post is about appreciation!

ONE
I think anyone who knows me knows how in love I am with Generation Kill. It's the show that started all of my HBO love and that's one of the many reasons I will love it forever. I love everything about it, from the characters to the cinematography to everything it's taught me about a world I never thought I would be so interested in. This applies for all the shows on this list, actually.

TWO
You know, how everyone says that The Wire is the GREATEST SHOW ON TV? Yeah, well they're all absolutely right.

THREE
Band of Brothers is so incredible and beautiful. I can't even tell you the damage it did on my poor heart while I watched it but of course, I love it for that.

FOUR
I just finished Carnivale a few days ago and I'm still thinking about it. It's been a while since I've been so interested in a show like this where I actually try to connect all the clues and hints and then love that final reveal I never predicted. It's a true shame we'll never see the entire story.

FIVE
* tied with ROME
I'm allowed to cheat! I really couldn't decide. Both shows are so great especially with their fabulously manipulative characters.

What are your favorite HBO shows?
