This is a low, but it won't hurt you...
Earlier this week the band blur were honored at the Brit Awards. They were recognized for their outstanding contribution to music. 'Bout friggin' time, if you ask me. As part of the recognition they performed during the broadcast. Not just one song or even a medley of a couple of songs! It seems they actually played a mini-concert! Girls and Boys, Song 2, Parklife (with Phil Daniels!), Tender, and one of my all-time fave blur songs, This is a Low.
In watching the vids, I have to say my favorite part was this, during Tender...
Damon leaning on Graham's shoulder while Graham sang his part, and Graham's little smile. *sigh* How I've missed these boys. Once again there are rumors that they may hit the road again for a bit, record an album, etc. I can only hope that not are the rumors true, but that they make their way over to the States so we can enjoy them on stage once again.
