Good morning! I almost didn't make it into work today. As I was driving up, before me was the most beautiful view of our mountains I have ever seen. You could see friggin' forever, man. And the sky was sooo blue. I started thinking to myself, 'no one would miss me for one day. Just keep driving, Deb'. I did in fact keep driving. For just about another 5 minutes or so. Long enough to get stuck in school-time traffic and for the brain to kick in and start reminding me of all the shit I have to get done. *sigh*
I do have Friday off. I wonder if this 'let's play hooky' weather will keep it up 'til then? If you don't hear from me Friday, you'll know the answer. ;)
Speaking of....uh....hmph, I don't have a segue. Anywhoodle, here in the Land o' Lackey, we are currently on Baby Watch 2006. My sis is officially 4 weeks from her due date and I think last night it just occurred to her that she might go into labor at a potential inconvenient time - when her hubby is at work and/or when she's by herself. Had to do a bit of calm down duty this morning on that particular epiphany. Luckily, our other sis is only about 15 minutes away from her during the day and the evening times are easily workable. Is it too early to start getting frazzled about this baby thing?

Billie Joe was named one of the top 25 Bay Area's Greatest Guitar Players according to Inside Bay Area.
23. Billie Joe Armstrong
The aggressively catchy riffs of Billie Joe Armstrong were the most important thing to happen to '90s rock next to Kurt Cobain. A thousand pop-punk bands owe him their chops. Though not the most technically gifted player, Armstrong is still pretty darned good. And it's what he chose to do with his playing that made such a difference. Saints stuff ~
:: Amazon uk has both the CD and 7" vinyl available for purchase for those interested. Thanks again, Dawg for the head's up. :D
:: For those don't want to order through the UK site, Amazon.com has Saints listed for pre-order. It says it's scheduled for release on the 14th of this month. Unfortunately, there is not a listing for the vinyl. In other Green Day purchasing news ~
