Sunday evening randomness
Good evening, dear eljay! I do hope you all remembered to turn back your clocks before you went to bed last night and got that well-earned extra hour of sleep - or that extra hour of mischief - we all deserve.
:: Woke up yesterday morning to mom watching an old Superman serial on AMC or TNT or one of those movie channels. As she oft does, she asked me to hit imdb.com to see what became of the 'original' Superman and his castmates. Besides your regular, he/she went on to film obscurity, we did find a neat little tidbit. The actor who played Jimmy Olsen - Tommy Bond - also did the voice of an owl in one of my most favorite cartoons, I Love to Singa. I'll take this time now to apologize to everyone who get this song stuck in their head for the rest of the evening. hee

Why do I find that utterly adorable?
:: Speaking of adorable....In a couple of chats we've had, koneko41 may have mentioned a couple of times *wink* her like of a certain Matt Skiba and his group Alkaline Trio. Well. I just happen to be walking through my local WalMart today and guess what jumped into my shopping cart? I am now the proud owner of Crimson. :) I haven't had an official listen as of yet, but Kat? We're going to need to talk. ;)
:: Speaking of talking....Spoke with Miss Sicky herself this evening. My poor, poor Barb. Sniffling, snarfling, coughing...she's a mess. She's currently camped out on her couch watching hours upon hours of DVDs. I've also noticed there are several people on the ol' flist that are under the weather. Let us all gather our get well vibes and focus them on eljay in general and see if we can collectively fight the nasty cold germs.
