Here's a peek at my DIY home baby photo studio setup! Spoiler alert, it's pretty darn simple.
It does require a big big window, but you could fake that by blasting a white wall with a hotshoe flash or strobe.
Just be sure to use a reflector or flash to make sure there are catchlights in the eyes!
Also, be sure to hit up the going-out-of-business sales at linen stores and troll Ikea for cheap fluffy blanket options!
